I have one. Nice gun but the aluminum frame makes it light. I prefer the all steel CZ.
The SIG takes down very well. CZ almost as good.
I tried a CZ Shadow the other day and it was fabulous. Perfect trigger and very accurate.
No idea how price of Shadow compares to 226.
I have the shadow and the 226, the shadow was the 2 tone and it was under 800. Cheaper than the 226.
The shadow is heavier, and for me personally feels a bit better in the hand. And that's not to say the sig doesn't feel great as well, just that the cz fits my hand just a touch better.
Basically they're both outstanding pistols, IMO you really can't go wrong either way. The sig can be a better value as well. I bought the sig 226 in .22 and am ordering the .40 rail. So for under 1000 bucks you get essentially two sigs.
