Single shot shotguns

I have an old Baikal IJ18 in 12 gauge , built like a tank . It's a useful little gun . When I get back in the country I'd like another one in 410 , just because lol .

I have a Winchester Steel built mod 37 12 ga, a CIL 410 ,couple of Turkish made Rev rms 20 gauges . I use em all but the Winchester is my favourite. I also have a Winchester Steel built mod 37 in 16 ga but it is a project, need to rebuild a broken rear stock.
I love an old single shot break action, just hard to beat for grouse .

I own three ..... Two Cooeys 12 and 20ga and a Stevens 301 Turkey gun also 12ga.

I like the Stevens with the 26" bbl. Sits nicely on the front of my ATV.

Are you a fan of single shot shotguns?

What do you have and what do you use it for?

I have a Stoegar IGA 20g.....it sees action for rabbits, grouse, squirrels and all sorts of other vermin and small game. It is just such a pleasure for carry and shoot.

Let's hear it!
I have a modest collection of older single shot, walnut and steel shotguns including Cooey, Harrington & Richardson, and Iver Johnson, all of them made in Canada. It’s a bit of an affliction with me!

I have a Cdn made Iver Johnson Champion, A BSA Single X11, an R.E.G. Hammerless and am currently restoring a fine old Winchester Model 37. I think I have the same affiction as oldpa.
