Very nice . If it were mine I would have to fit a slug barrel to it .

Love to hear and see more about this Greener.
What a piece! Been on the hunt for a beautiful GP. That case colored receiver nearly takes the cake. Where'd you find this fine specimen?

I have a modest collection of older single shot, walnut and steel shotguns including Cooey, Harrington & Richardson, and Iver Johnson, all of them made in Canada. It’s a bit of an affliction with me!Are you a fan of single shot shotguns?
What do you have and what do you use it for?
I have a Stoegar IGA 20g.....it sees action for rabbits, grouse, squirrels and all sorts of other vermin and small game. It is just such a pleasure for carry and shoot.
Let's hear it!
What are you using for ammunition in your 28 gauge Iver Johnson?I love single shots. My favorite is my late Grandmother's old Iver Johnson in 28 gauge. Taken its fair share of grouse ovr the years. Best pointing shotgun I own.
I had several boxes of old paper CIL shotshells in 7 1/2 shot I used for years. More recently, Remington in lead 6.What are you using for ammunition in your 28 gauge Iver Johnson?
Yes ,those old C-I-L Imperial were the best, for sure.I find the Remington Express to be one of ,if not the cleanest burning shells of today.I had several boxes of old paper CIL shotshells in 7 1/2 shot I used for years. More recently, Remington in lead 6.
Just used up the last of my supply of Winchester 28 gauge shells 1 ounce of shot in these. Hit just as hard as a 20 gauge. I don't believe they produce them anymore.I had several boxes of old paper CIL shotshells in 7 1/2 shot I used for years. More recently, Remington in lead 6.
