They would still have to be pinned to 5 rounds as there is NO commonly available AK47 pistol in Canada

There is another thread on CGN and apparently, there already is an AR pistol in Canada that takes AK magazines. Thus, the possible AK pistol mags that another retailer is trying to bring in. I don't really know all the details (only took a superficial glance at that other thread), but it could theoretically run in an SKS-D.

CMMG mutant takes AK Mags,there is a pistol variant of said mags,making specifically manufactured and marked 10 round pistol mags would be perfectly legal.

On topic,magpul P mags work great,I also have some polish mags that work pretty well.

Bring in some SKS -d's so we can have more!

You need the norinco ak mags. Do not use the newer polymor mags.

The problem is the guy said use AK47pistol mags of which there are no AK47 pistols commonly available in Canada .
The fact that the AK47 mag fit's a special model of an AR15 has nothing to do with it .

Any AK47 mag will work (but the drums require stock mods).

Yea I would expect other major sponsors to bring the SKS-d in before Westrifle, no offence to them but other sponsors here have more contact with China! Every day the Chinese economy slows down, it is possible that they would take another look at selling their old stock of SKS and maybe making a run of the d model, money talks, they need to keep their people working!
