??????wow, I dont think you actually read my post, or are you new to english? By how much did I say it affected the accuracy?(You said "if it affects it THAT much") .... So you agree with me then, chrome lining should not be the deal breaker yes? 1952 is when they started to chrome line, both mine are NOT chrome lined, Nor is my Yugo(and to clarrify, ALL chinese sks's ARE chrome lined) If you are trying to say that a chrome lined barrel and a non chrome lined barrel are just as good as each other, great, good for you, I dont really give a ####, as what I said clearly stated "That is why PEOPLE argue that Chinese SKS's are not as accurate" I didnt say that was my stand point, did I ?. Also, chrome is way smoother then the steel it covers, it does not collect residue in the pores as much(Because it does not have pores like steel does)and it being that much smoother, is easier to send the bore brush through it and it withstands heat MUCH better. Now nowhere did I say they did it so corrosive ammo could be fired through the gun, but, it makes the gun MUCH easier to clean in any case. So, as I said, chrome lined or not, it should not be a deal breaker. The only REAL advantage to chrome lined barrels, are when you use rapid fire and give it continuous heat abuse, otherwise, there isnt much point, as you said yourself, even 70 years ago they cleaned the barrels just fine.
