For a complete field strip, you will need to remove the pistol grip to get at the detent behind the trigger guard.

I like the look of the stock. It reminds me of the Troy-produced stock for the M1A. Also, it would be neat to see Magpul sights up on top of that rail.

Trulytactical has a mag release very much like the one you made. They dont ship to canada but I managed to get one a while back and it works great. Not as easy to reach with one finger as its on the far side of the trigger guard, but its a HUGE improvement over the stock release or the crappy plastic tapco one. Nice job on yours... I had another SKS (and if you produce this stock, I will), id want a mag release like that one.

your design is really coming along. a side by side comparing what your at now and what you first posted would really show

Or even better, since it looks like a much newer design (sks bayo wouldn't suit it) would there be a way to fab and fasten a bayonet lug for an M9 bayonet?

yes maybe it will be possible to put a lug for a m9 bayo , for the original bayo i dont think because it will create weaker point to the stock and without the bayo you remove some weight on the front and the rifle will be better balance

i have enlarge the ejection port for the one who do not want to do the ejection port mod on their sks . may have some other thing to modify
