Smith and Wesson M&P 15/22

what would be the best optic to put on a mp15-22?

EOTech,Aimpoint compML3 or what else?

i will go range shooting a close and a far distance.can we shoot 200 yards with those optics?

and i'm looking also at the Burris speed dot 135 or XTS-135

ho, i forgot to tell about my budget...500$ with the mount
 
If the sights are the same as the M&P15..... (conjecture)

I will be using the factory iron sights (they have the A2 style adjustable for windage and elevation), the carry handle is removeable with a weaver base so any weaver style rings should just pop on (or off for that matter) so you could put on any optic under the sun!.....

I'd probably opt for an aimpoint or any kind of a red dot would be good....... Or you could go with a cheapie bushnell rimfire scope.....

This is all assuming the carry handle is removeable like on the full size M&P 15.....

Instead of asking these questions why not read over the last 17 pages and see if perhaps someone has already answered them????

To save you some time, yes the EOtech will fit so will the Aimpoint or whatever else super expensive optic you are planning on putting on this .22.

You do realize these guns have been out in the states for a while now and you can find just about any answer your itching to get on their forums.

We won't be seeing these rifles for a couple more weeks minimum, so you have plenty of time to do your research.
 
Today is the last day of the shot show. Sooooo.... Has anyone heard what the new official status will be? Last I heard the decision was to be made sometime during the show.

With all my AR's...do I want another type?
Probably not....not with all the other types of .22lr rifles coming to market this year.
My money is going to the Sig 522.
Something different....and this one's built really nice!!!.
