I've had brand new left handed shooters try the Tavor without any issues. You can get an effective cheek weld far enough behind the ejection port that it won't clip you in the mouth much, if at all. If it does clip you, it'll be a quick brush. You don't eat rounds like you do with the AUG.

I've no luck shooting support side with my Tavor. I'm a righty but when I go left, not only do I eat brass but the casing goes back into the port and I end up with a triple feed. One in the chamber, one jammed into the rear of the one in the chamber and a stovepipe. Happened to me twice in a row so I gave up. Just bought a new angled deflector from Bullpup Armories. Haven't tried it yet though.
