So, in the end, how did Covid 19 affect your hunt?

my October hunt in Nepal for Himalayan Blue sheep was postponed.

I booked a bighorn hunt with a Canadian outfitter in AB. Spent 21 days on the mountain but didn't get one. Had a blast though and gave it our all.

If the border doesnt open I will be back out after bighorns again or might hunt Stone sheep in BC.

Did not affect me or my crew at all. Got a nice Jake opening weekend April at the beginning of the first wave. Tons of upland and small game in the Fall. Went out for deer but no luck. Got out for waterfowl plenty times. Hunting kept me sane and the wife never questioned me once this year. She actually always let me out when I asked. Yes, I have to ask for permission.

On the up-side, things at work were quieter because of Covid... therefore was able to find more time to go hunting for grouse.
