How is boycotting russian stuff not racist. I don't get it.

Like the next door russian dude is now the devil ?

lets say if 'a friend' had 4k rounds of 7.62 at home... and goes through about 500-600 rounds a year.. by the time he/she goes through his/her ammo will the prices come down again...? :)

Can someone posted here what would be the ballpark of what considered good deal for the bulk ammo for 22lr, 9mm, 45acp, 7.62/308 please?

22LR -$0.12/round if buying in bulk.
9mm - $0.34/round for brass.
7.62x39 - $0.30/round for bulk corrosive.
7.62x51/308 - $0.70/round for bulk surplus.

Just putting this out there but if anybody reading this has any Russian ammo they'd like to virtuously boycott to help out Ukraine then I would happily take it off your hands!

Who gives a flying flock if boycotting russian products is "racist". Their gov is the number 1 ash hole on the planet right now and we don't want to buy their stuff. Simple as that

Many nations still using 7.62x39 and some militias etc ….. I could see why China may get more “choosey” of who they sell to.

In prepper hindsight … many people preferred 5.56 because of potential supply issues.

I'd be willing to pay more to get some made in Canada 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R, the problem I see is the supply can never meet the demand.

I don't think any Canadian company is going to invest in the tooling to make 7.62x39 just to feed whatever T81's and SKS are out there, especially with the possible semi-auto ban on the horizon.
That would likely not be a very good business decision on their part...even less for the 54R.

Highly unlikely. Prices might come down a bit between now and then, but by the time you've used all that ammo (which is 7-8 years by the numbers you've listed) prices will have gone up significantly from what they were pre-invasion. Surplus ammo prices have basically doubled in the last 10 years, and the rifles have doubled in an even shorter time period. The days of surplus being dirt cheap are gone, and unless China finds an entire warehouse full and decides to flood the market with cheap product, I don't see prices going anywhere but up long term.

What about Canada Ammo? Weren't they making it at some point?

why because your tv said so ?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that a guy who is bombing nuclear power plants and residential neighborhoods is a terrible person...

There will be plenty of it lying on the ground in dead commie hands in a few months after China invades Canada... or should I say the gov of Canada invites them to come subdue their ‘violent extremist citizens’.
