No, we’re just pointing out that China/Norinco will fill the gap. Jumping ahead, if China invades Taiwan which is being considered as potentially likely. Then there’d definitely be a ban on Norinco products coming to Canada.

The potential for a local domestic supplier is definitely increasing with world events.

Ugh that would suck if China invaded Taiwan and we lost them as a source... I can't help but feel like that will really depend on whether Russia can claim Ukraine? If Russia fails to pull that off and their economy stays in the toilet then China might decide the risk isn't worth it? One can only hope?...
 


We have been benifiting from massive cold war stock piles (ammo production dropped off to a fraction after 1990). What is left will not be sold to Canadians. The Canadian consumers view of "looking for something cheap to shoot" does not appeal in times of war to those who hold the ammo.

This thread went down hill fast. Rather than explain how war in one country affects ammo prices/availability in other countries, the best thing for those who think that this is all made up is to watch and wait for a few months and let that provide the explanation for you. We will be excited to resume this discussion then.

There will be ammo after WW3 happens, which most likely will kick off in the next few weeks/month...Will you be alive when its over to buy cheap ammo is the big question!
