You could say that about any/all AR manufactures
My vote would be for another lower that takes ar15 magazines (so we can use the LAR 10 rounders) but utilizes the factory swiss furniture.
All four of my SAN rifles would wind up wearing one....

We've got quite a few Swiss/SIG products releasing. Some of them people have seen coming, others no one will.![]()
Too expensive, too small of a market.
Besides, I think the Swiss have dome a pretty damn good job with what they've made.
I'm no engineer but to my eye a Sig-540 upper isn't terribly complicated. If they can clone an AR I have no doubt they could build a swiss rifle; the question is whether it can be done profitably. I wonder if there may be licensing/ patent issues?
To hell with the swiss arms. Why doesn't NEA make a canadian made M14 reciever?!
Pain in the ass to machine and no market when you can get good Norinco receivers ten for a buck or whatever they go for.
....... but I think there would be a decent market if they made good quality M25 recievers.........
......Definetly a pain in the ass to machine, but I think there would be a decent market if they made good quality M25 recievers, similar to the ones that LRB puts out. I'd buy one. Dare to dream!
love to see a complete semi auto design from scratch![]()
The 20 or so M14 guys in the Main Battle Rifle forum would not be considered a market......
1000 pcs = No Market
50,000pcs = Market
How about an AR lower that takes Swiss Arms mags??
Seriously. If you would actually believe me If I was............
Metal lower to make a UMP. Bet their would be a good market for that, I mean market as in Global. They Luv the HK across the pond!
