That looks awesome! I'm sure it'd be even nicer with some ODG weaved into it. Lots of applications for that kind of stuff.

Still, I think that TI should be letting us know if/why these folders are coming with mismatched furniture. The fixed stock models are coming with the correct buttstocks, so it seems strange that the folders don't have the furniture shown in the photos. I know that factory samples are "best of the best" but they should still be representative of the shipped product.

I want them packing our rifles as the priority, rather than staying up to date on this thread. But they should totally do both, but let's get these rifles out in the wild.

Interesting, I wonder what TI has to say about the cheekpiece situation. In all the images of this batch they've posted it's all matching furniture. It would seriously suck if they don't come with the correct colored plastic. Last time if I recall correctly it was an issue with the factory and they provided replacement panels - are we going to see a repeat with this batch?

Out of curiosity, I decided to take an average of the colors in both photos, it's definitely supposed to be a red cheekpiece, according to the 5x5 blocks I picked at random.

If you compare it to the photo posted, it's night and day

Hardly scientific. All of those photos were taken in vastly different lighting and the one was blatantly retouched marketing. RGB Values here don't mean anything. Don't get your panties in a knot till we start seeing more photos in other customers hands with better lighting.

For sure, it's an averaged color over 4*25 pixel blocks taken at random, hardly pantone colors. The point of doing this was to demonstrate that we were sold rifles with red stock panels no matter which marketing imagery you look at. If you ordered an OD Green rifle and it came to you as spruce blue, would you be thrilled about it? Over the next week or so we'll see more of these in people's hands, so hopefully by then we have an idea of how prevalent this is/if it's actually an issue.

Aside from insignificant things like people being upset over color it seems these rifles don't have issues. I guess I'll buy one of each from the next batch.
