SOLD OUT: TR-410 Micro

FYI, Gunadaptors just restocked them today.. I've ordered a set.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up going with the 5 piece set from The Shooters Box a few days ago. They shipped it out really fast via USPS, with tracking. Shipping was about $20 USD. Not bad at all :

I've been watching YouTube reviews of these types of adapters in various gauges / calibers and sometimes the rifled vs. non-rifled doesn't make much of a difference at 2.5" to 3" length. As such, I'm hoping mine will be "decent enough" to be worthwhile, lol.

Congrats on your purchase, you definitely got the better adapters set!

TR-45 should be here in July -with rifled barrel.

We had the option to add .45 capability to the shotguns, but shooting bullets through smoothbore makes no sense to us..

It's not about target practice at 100+ meters, it's about "scavenging" or reloading 45LC / 45ACP cases in case the SHTF. Also, it's about having cheap "slugs" on hand, when 410 slugs are unobtanium and/or 5x the price of .45 cartridges. 45LC also hits a lot harder than 410 slugs out of the same 410/45LC firearms (like the Taurus Judge series) in testing. 100 grain vs 250 grain, baby!

If you watch YouTube videos of guys shooting smoothbore caliber adapters, some of them get surprising accuracy out to 25-40 yard range... which is PLENTY for the gun's "intended use". Let's be real, lol... I love you TI and have bought many "exotic / one of a kind" things from you over the years (and recommended your online store others, who did too), but you're out to lunch on this one, lol. ;)

Check this out and reconsider if it makes sense or not. Video shows smoothbore 3" adapters nailing targets HARD and accurately enough :

This one is about shooting 45LC out of a smoothbore 410 (accuracy test) :

All those videos show the smooth bore adapter firing through an 18" rifled barrel or longer. The reason I went with the rifled adapters is because we're talking about the TR-410 Micro here, with only a 5" barrel. My thinking is that since the rifled adapter occupies the first 2.5" of that barrel, it should meaningfully contribute to bullet stabilization before it exits... more so than it would in a longer barrel where the gun's own rifling does most of the work.

I won't know for sure until I get it to the range, but given how short the barrel is, the bullet doesn't travel far before it's out in the air... so in theory, every bit of spin you can impart early matters more, not less. At least that's my logic... could be wrong, but it makes sense to me... lol
