Think about it. High velocity rounds that are short and cheap. I'd buy a stainless 12"bbl Mare's Leg in 7.62x25mm and I don't even like lever actions.
I’d like a x25 bolt action that take TT33 mags, no longer than 20” barrel. Would be a sweet combo.
Really they need to make 9mm bolt action... It would sell better as alot of clubs ban steel core ammo, so surplus 762x25 be out.
I’d be all over both of those, I’ve always thought a pistol caliber bolt rifle would be a great small game rifle. Reloading for both would seal the deal I’d expect.
The appeal is the cheap ammunition. How long will this last? What appeal would the cartridge have if only new commercial ammunition were available? Is it even made in North America?
I always thought the appeal was a zippy little projectile in a small package that isn't a restricted firearm?
The cost doesn't hurt, but I honestly don't understand why anyone can't see the merits of this cartridge outside it's surplus availability.
A '92 Winchester in .32-20 does that.
Availability of commercial softpoint 7.62x25 marginal.
