Spray painted rifles

This needs some content. Did this for a buddy, practiced on some cardboard, then went for it. Re blued the barrel and action, was going to refinnish stock but the wood was so soft...almost like dry rot.

I like the way this one turned out. It has proven to be very durable. Krylon green with a speckle paint over it and some black high temp bbq paint lightly sprayed over to darken it a bit. Clear coat over that.

Have a fiberglass stock that I'm going to be painting. Originally had a ugly paint scheme that the previous owner sprayed.
Thinking going to go with a Dark green base like savagelh but instead of splatters, going to spray stripes of dark brown.
Thinking that I'd rather have a low visibility rifle, if their is a lot of tan, might be good where there's grass/ tan.

Can't use this one any more, but it sure was fun when we could! I don't regret painting it, dug it out of the safe in case anyone wanted to see another quick dirty rattle can job.

Almost all of my pistols and rifles are rattle canned.

For some reason I can't figure out how to post them here so if someone could let me know the preferred hosting site I'll update this post.

In the meantime, if you haven't joined the FB group "that's cool now spray paint it", i highly recommended you do.

It's a never ending source of hilarity and a huge source of camo livery ideas.

...just don't be scared off by the underlying foot fetish crowd.
