Small boomstick, since i sold my .338

I will be using my .300win mag. I figure with a good bullet, like the nosler partition or barnes-x, there should be enough energy there to break shoulders, and then worry about a follow up shot.
A friend knows a few guys who live and hunt in this exact area, so at least i will not be going blindly into the woods.
I do not have a boat, but i figure there should be lots of places that don't actually require a boat.
Thinking of heading up there in the 1st week of may, I think that is a good time to find a bear with a nice coat on it. I will also buy a black bear tag, just in case, since there are some nice blackies up that way also.
I'm just really happy that after trying for so many years i'll finally get a chance to hunt grizz; after looking through some guide outfitter websites it's nice to see that a the cost of a dream hunt is $80, lol. Well not counting all the other necesseties, just the tag
I'll keep this post alive for the next few months

hopefully in May i can add some pics to it, keeping fingers crossed.
