Stag 10 precision mount suggestions

One thing to keep in mind:

With a flat top continuous railed AR, you want that 1.46 to 1.5" in height from bottom of mount to the middle of the ring. 1.5" is preferable. Anything less and you will have issues with the bell on larger scopes. Also this puts your eyes at the right spot when you bring the rifle up. I also like to have the scope as close to the rail as possible ie to the barrel for less offset. However, if your rings are too low then you are looking down and your forehead goes down/forward which makes your eyebrow go much closer to the scope. On bigger calibers this significantly reduces your eye relief and is a good predictor to guess someone will be receiving "scope bite". Plus frankly it's uncomfortable trying to conform around the rifle to get the right sight picture.

Yup I have a set of 1.5" MDT Elite rings on the EE right now.

This was my previous scope on the 102, a 1" Bushnell Tactical Elite LRS with a Burris AR-P.E.P.R. mount.
It worked well.

So I tried the Vortex Pro 34mm cantilever 0moa. Wasn't really happy with the 0moa. LGS didn't have the 34mm precision cantilever but were kind enough to let me take the mount home and see how it cleared the 50mm bell. I have ended up locating the nightforce 20moa/6mil unimount with good reviews.

I still would have preferred SPUHR but just can't convince myself to spend the money on a gas gun with no local ranges that can put out past 200m.

I did locate the Arisaka defense optic leveler kit. it looks better than trying to use bubbles. so hopefully I can update again within the week.

Nightforce makes good stuff. The NF scope rings I have use the same attachment method as the one piece mount. A buddy of mine had the NF one piece on a high end AR10 rifle of his. Looked and worked well. With a socket wrench (I use one that came with a LMT rifle and just preset the lbs/inch as it's adjustable) it's fairly quick. A bit more than a few latches, but it's solid and if you don't mind carrying an adjustable socket wrench that allows you to set the right torque, then it's pretty good!

That Gieselle mount looked good. But also fairly expensive.

I can't justify the cost of the SPUHR mounts for most of my stuff. They are frankly ridiculously expensive.

I found the Wheeler Professional Reticle Leveling System works great for scopes. Don't bother with the other bubble leveling systems unless you're using them in addition to the professional system. The ones that go into the action are completely useless.

I'm ordering the arisaka sight leveler. it makes more accurate sense to me to use that over bubbles
