Well I am finally tickled to say I own the first non restricted "sten" gun produced here is Sk. I will have to take more and better pictures but here is what I have for now.
I opted for the Suomi drum mag bottom fed instead of the side stick mag they used to have. This gun is built off of original sten parts, shoots 9mm, is a true open bolt gun, and is nicknamed the FRT gun by its builder as there was a lengthy battle over getting it passed the RCMP lab at all. It has an adjustable for height and windage rear sight with semi fixed front sight. What I mean by semi fixed is it can be removed or shifted side to side with a tool or brass drift. I am going ot shoot it this weekend but the builder has shot the gun being it was his first and a prototype. The trigger group assembly, bolt, and rear stock are all original STEN and the tube aned magwell are new manufacture. It has a bit of weight to her but he promises it is a blast to shoot. The guy I bought it off of also makes a few variations on this platform but since he is not a site supporter I will not give his info a details publically out of respect for the CGN site. I plan on using it for gophers in a couple weeks when I go out as 9mm is so cheap to reload but the range trip to try its accuracy and range with the longer barrel will be needed first.
