Sorry, but I can't assist with photos as I was never loaned an R9 for review. I have now posted the extent of my knowledge concerning the R9, which was mentioned during discussions that I had with J.R. Cox and an SAI representative primarily concerning the R18 Mk3.

We shall see, but keep up the negativity, it's a real help!
Who Dares to Whine

I like the rifle, but sure not a fan of that barrel arrangement. Does it take standard AR barrels/extensions so I can get one with a threaded muzzle for other muzzle devices?
Barrel is back bored so the rifling length will be ca. 8-10 inches, while the barrel itself is still 18.5".

There was no chance it would use an AR extension because they are designed for the AR rotating bolt and guaranteed this blowback gun would not have a rotating bolt.

However, that doesn't preclude a replacement barrel being made, as long as you can source a blank. Then you'd just need to know how the barrel is installed.

Fair enough. In that case, what about the standard AR arrangement for all the blowback 9mm AR PCC's that are available in the US? If the barrel is easily removable/swappable then the rest can be sorted out, as you say.

Best is to wait and see once a rifle is actually in someones hand other then people thinking they know

Looks interesting. Can you let us know why this is deemed legal? I understand it wasn’t banned by name in the latest OIC but it takes 10 round pistol mags.. thought as per bill c21, all new rifles in Canada after a certain date had to be originally designed to accept magazines with a capacity no greater than 5 rounds?

I'm in no hurry, there is time. First, I'm waiting to see how our current political sh!t show resolves itself and second, we need to see some in the wild and see how they run. I'm not a fan of paying $2K+ to be a beta tester.

They are actually 5 round mags, I made a mistake on the video.

Using MP5 magazines instead of Glock is a massive failure.
A partially rifled barrel that isn't even threaded another failure.

I feel with your last comment, you're completely biased. I've provided you with the information on the FRT, RCMP or not, it's not a requirement, that's why it's going to be available next week in the shop.

Knowing JR Cox funded this firearm with the money stolen/scammed off of members of the community I wouldn't have touched it at all....

If not forgetting and making moral decisions makes us biased then so be it.

Actually no it won't!.....:(

See the following link below. We can kiss our freedoms, rights and guns good-bye.

The NDP-Libs are not done.
On March 24, 2025 I think the Libs will bring a "supply" vote to keep the government funded . The NDP will support this and parliament will be prorogued again in order to give time for the Libs to try to rehabilitate their electoral chances under a new leader. That could push the election to the fall of 2025.
