Very nice favorite! Dad has a couple of the newer ones, funs shooting with 22 shorts!

Hey thnkz , the hammer and lever all function like new , bore
is immaculate just the trigger break weight is awfully heavy 2 kg + (5 to 6 lbs)
Being .32 rf I don't shoot it much , not great groups @ 50 mtrs.

Hey Keith , the Favorites were only in rimfire .22 , .22-15-60 , .25 & .32 if you needed
a centre fire the Stevens model 44 (Ideal)was the step up in calibre.
The model 44 came in .22lr , .25 rf , .32 rf , 25-20 cf , 32-40 cf , 38-55 cf & 44-40 cf
not many of these are current , they were hard to tell apart unless side by side.
This is a 44 in .25 Stevens rf .

Stevens Favorite Holy Grail
Thnkz to our Super Moderator tiriaq who drew my attention to the
Kidd Auction in Aug. I sucessfully bid and won the treasure of
my collection of Stevens Favorites.... thnkz man.
Model 1894 Side Extractor (7 o clock) Manufactured 1897,98,99 ?
22'' barrel 1/2 octagon 1/2 round .22 lr.
Matching sr # barrel & lower tang.

Model 1894 (early) #19 Sights - Lyman #1 Tang , Lyman #5 Front.
.32rf w/ 22'' Adjustable Barrel , Note the knurled nut between action & barrel.
To retain proper Head Space (Didn't work in practicality )
All calibres .22lr , .25 Stevens , .32rf had 22'' barrels.
All had low 2 didgit production numbers (sr. #'s)
