But please understand our government wants you to be safe.... Feel better now ?

Suprisingly, no:mad:

I don't recall hearing about target shooters of the 30's getting Hatters Disease, and I somehow doubt NRCAN do testing without a fume hood.

STAND BY a few weeks, they are on the way in John

Damn, and I was going to put a new roof on the house next year. Oh well, I suppose I can just put it off another year, or wait until it starts leaking, whichever comes first. :dancingbanana:

ALL models will be imported as available.... Keep an eye on our site for several interesting new toys for 2007 John

I take this to mean when they available, Marstar will be bringing them in.

Sorry koldt, that collection isn't complete. I don't see any MP40s in it. Tsk tsk that only deserves an 8/10. :p

Of course I don't own anything German so I would get a 0/10, but that's beside the point :)

The 7.92 Kurz rounds can be made from 30-06 or 7.62 casings. As for a supplier, Yugoslavia the countries that made up that country may still make them as they used the StG/MP43/44's in their army up until the early eighties I believe.
Ammunition would not be a problem and even if it is I'll just make it myself. The rifle is worth the trouble.

if that helmet is an original double decal its worth upwards of 6000 US.... not even to mention all those firearms, not even my kidneys are worth as much as whats on that table.

The 98k is in incredible shape. I'd pay $1200 for that rifle, if it's all matching.
Is the grenade a dewat or is it a replica? What about the belt buckle?

Which of that stuff ISN'T authentic? That's what I'd like to know.

TEAPOT;
The Yugos NEVER used the Mp-38s, Mp-40s or any of the other MPs... they did capture tens of thousands after they liberated their country....
Those that required a refit were sent for refurbishing, all were later put into deep storage with the thousands of Mg-34s, Mg-42, Mausers etc, etc....They were in the "peoples reserves" of weapons and munitions....

Until Marstar started moving surplus out of that country in 1984....
John

Every item in the pictures are authentic. I don't own any replicas of any kind, firearms nor equipment.

All of the leather is unissued and as new that fits a wide body, 48" waist belt:eek: .

The M35 DD helmet is original, but is a war time re-paint as were a lot of them.

The K98 is all matching, however the safety has been ground and re-numbered to match by someone/somewhere, Yugo???. Other than that, it's all the same numbers.

Belt buckle and tab are original, with complete paint finish.

The MG34 is mismatched. But it has a fairly good high gloss blue. I picked up an AA sight last year in Edmonton.

The P08 is an S42, 100% match, including the mag and grips. But it is in only what I consider mediocre shape.

very impressive Koldt, have you had the helmet verified?

@ johnone, i think he was referrign to the MP40's made by the same company that makes the semi auto only stg44, it would indeed be nice to see both imported.

TEAPOT;
What research material do you have to support this ?

I have spent a lot of time in the former Yugoslavia and never heard of this....
I know for a fact that many units of the special forces used the Thompson M1a1 while others used the M-56.

When Zastava began producing the M-70 family of weapons ALL active forces immediately adopted one version or another....

I know the folks over there would refer to the MP-44 family of guns as "paratrooper rifles" due to the fact that most were catured from German paratroopers during WW-11. As you know the Germans staged many airborne campaigns in that country.

Often entire units of German troops were either wiped out or captured, this confirmed by the fact that we often had long sequences of serial numbers on the MP-44s we purchased in Yugoslavia.

Look forward to hearing from you
John

Hey, John,

I was sent some pictures of the StG's in use around the world. Several pictures were of a Yugoslavian Parachute regiment preparing for a jump. They had their StG's tucked into the webbing at their right sides without magazine of course. Yet another photograph had them squatting about a sand map. All were cradling or holding the StG.
