I want some proof to back up your claims because I see nothing in the OIC about the SU16.No...Its restriction has NOTHING to do with barrel length. The Model is cosidered RESTRICTED!!! It could have a 75" Barrel and still be restricted. (like an AR, etc...)

As it sits right now, you are pulling information out of your ass and making yourself look stupid.

Boltgun, that's what I thought he might meant at first, but then he goes on to say that length has nothing to do with it and the model is restricted by name.
Me thinks that this is the section that applies.
"restricted firearm" means
(c) a firearm that is designed or adapted to be fired when reduced to a length of less than 660 mm by folding, telescoping or otherwise, or
The version that had the trigger assembly fold out of the way when the stock folded would not fall under this. But since this appears to be able to fire when folded then it would fall under this section.

I don't know why its been deemed restricted. In the FRT they list a 18.5" model as restricted, just like the 16" model, etc... Barrel length does not seem to play a factor in making this firearm restricted.
