......what is everyone using in regards to shot size and weight.....
For the 28, 3/4 oz #8 @ about 1200FPS.
The 3" Hull and the Win 410HS wad and 3/4 oz of 8.5 or #9 hard shot and some choke really gives some balls to the 410 .For sporting clays with the .410, I use #9 in 1/2 oz or 11/16 on the shots inside 30 yards and #8's beyond that. The capacity of the 410 is so little that I like to get as many pellets in there as I can but I don't use #9's in anything else.
Sub ga can be bad habit makers when there is no consensus for recoil.
Certainly fun to shoot though.
Now that is a first. Dream that one yesterdayCan't shoot sub gauges well I see

J808 post has some validity to it My buddy is a great trap shooter and shoots 3 1/4 dram loads all day long and with out the recoil his scores drop. Give him a sub gauge and he has trouble hitting a barn door. Tell him his ammo doesn't hold 1 1/8 oz of 7 1/2 shot and he falls apart . It does happen.
