Sulun SS-211, this is not your daddy's shotgun Cowboy!

The shiny screw heads in the photo denote the upgraded ones I used to replace the factory 'screws'. The side blast shield blew right off the gun while out a 2 a.m. dispatching a pair of porcupines that were literally eating the camp. I love porcupines, but...

the holster is very handy too. It is now my official 'walking around gun' here on the woodlot. The snap releases with a flick of the forefinger, the gun slides smoothly out of the holster, and the hammer and laser button are right there at one's thumb. Super fast. The rail is an option, but it's a must have imo. The holster is a wyatt barrett, and not inexpensive at $200. Again, if you want to carry this gun around in the bush, it's a must have.View attachment 702942 View attachment 702943

nice!!

Hi do you the screw size used as replacements? would like to have some handy in case mine shoot off into the oblivion. thanks

So I had to take my SS-211 to my gunsmith...

There's 3 screws in the wooden fore end & one of them went missing... Lucky for me he is 10 mins away & had it fixed in under 1 min after digging around for a replacement.

Anyone with a SS-211 should put a drop of blue loctite on those three screws...

I think there is multiple variations from the factory.

Mine has 12.2" legal hunting length barrels a factory fibre optic front site and I don't see a way to select what barrel fires first.

The safety is also the barrel selector is it not?

Side to side for barrel selection and forward and back for the safety.

Good choice on the barrel length.

You are correct selector button is part of the safety.

Looks like a weak spot in the design.

Glad you figured it out.

The markings are a bit hard to decipher for the two options from what I recall, other wise the 2 in one nature doesn't bother me...... why do you think it's weak?

Other then the weak spring issue discussed a while back in this thread I haven't heard about to many issues?
