gotcha. thanks. I never actually visited the fundrazr site. I sent an EMT direct. I wonder how much CGN support thru EMT there has been on it's own
Who ever accepted my EMT was grateful, if that means anything to those who have not yet kicked in what ever they can.
On a related note,
As gun owners we need to start making our voices heard. We are currently in a losing fight right now. As I understand it, Ralph Goodale's new gun laws (if they get passed) will give the RCMP carte blanche to ban or prohibit any firearm that they like independent of the government. The Liberals want to eliminate the politician (the people's voice) from the process. This means that the NFA or your local MP will have no influence at all on the banning of firearms.
We are on the verge of a Liberal 'police-state' with respect to firearm ownership...
I agree with you 100%. The police are the problem. They have lost many cases down east aren't these presidents? Provincial governments are starting to address these problems in favor of the land owner.
C'mon guys lets keep this post at the top!
28.3k so far (funrazr only) 18 days in ... Seems things are slowing down with April 6th fast approaching ..
I've been checking the progress daily. The dollar amount has barely budged in the last three days. It's currently just over twenty-eight thousand dollars which should cover all the legal bills if the Maurice trial lasts only twelve minutes.
There are 357 contributors out over over two million gun owners in Canada. Today I am ashamed to call myself a firearms owner. If this is the best that we can do then maybe we deserve to lose our rights and privileges...

As gun owners we need to support each other. If you're a home / property owner then you're on your own. Canada needs a Castle Doctrine but that's never gonna happen. The laws to counter criminal activities are not going to change especially when the leader of the country and his ministers are criminals themselves.
We need to look after each other because each other is all we have. How bad to things need to get before this sinks in???
Even if everyone donated a minimum of 1$ per firearm they owned it would show immense support, it would show that we as a community will come together to protect one another should you find yourself in Eddie's shoes.
This culture will take from you, more than you have to give.
I think of the THOUSANDS of dollars I've put forward, whenever someone's needed help.
I can't help but to think, "what the heck have any of these guys ever done for me?
These last 2 legal funds, especially (Stanley's and this one):
-were these two guys active members of the firearms community?
-did they ever donate?
-do they have membership cards to any of our organizations?
-did they not give a damn about anyone else's plight, until the minute trouble landed on their front door?
These are the things I try not to think about, whenever one of you guys needs a hand.
The financial help for Maurice is important but making our voices heard is at least as important if not possibly more-so. Like I've already said, if just half of the two million gun owners in this country gave just one dollar the political statement would be colossal. It would be impossible for the Leftist media to ignore it. Try seeing it from that perspective also...

Someone should contact Gerald Stanley. Once his legal troubles are over, he will probably have some funds left over from the 200K+ he received in donations. It would be very classy of him to pay it forward, or to create an ongoing fund to help out ALL of the members of wrongful self defence prosecution.
