Surprises on CanadaAmmo.ca

Just took delivery at $499.00. Kinda feel ripped now. How much margin is in this stuff?
Ok, so I received my shipment on May 21st, (paid $499.00). I sent off an email to CanadaAmmo May 25th asking if they could help me out with any kind of discount.
So...........it's been 3 days............still waiting for a reply.............I'm starting to feel kinda ripped off too.

I emailed them on the 24th re the same thing, but they hadn't shipped mine yet. It was shipped on the 28th, no response from them yet.

CanadaAmmo is the best way !!! always satisfied. and they do more than other for us .

Best Price...competitive price...

free shipping !!! and more important is the best place to buy :)

Obviously going well above and beyond. Guys that have bought at 499... You made a conscious decision that that was a good enough deal and proceeded to order. No one forced your hand. No company ever ought to be expected to retroactively credit someone who paid what they decided was a fair price. Going so far as to say you feel 'ripped off'??? Give me a break. You're a responsible adult who made a decision to purchase. Maybe you wish you had waited? Fine... but 'ripped off'' Come on guys.

If CanadaAmmo decided to go and do something like that for you they've gone well above and beyond what can be expected and are demonstrating a truly top shelf attitude. Don't drag them through the mud and say you feel 'ripped off'. Buy another case at the lower price instead!! Or two!

Not trying to make people angry, although they undoubtedly will become so anyways, but hoping people will take a little responsibility for their own actions. Man (or woman) up.

You bring a lot of good points Jzz30tt, yet I have to say in my opinion that was not the smartest way to build costumer loyalty. What did they think it was going to happen??!? Did they really think people who paid the original price will be cheering them on once they see the "new" promotion?

Just my 2c.

A while back there was corrosive Czech .308 selling for over $600 per 1000. (different seller, not CanAm)
Imagine how those buyers must feel now.
Just enjoy the new improved price while it lasts.

If there is one thing I can say for sure it is that shooters are some of the cheapest sporstpeople on the planet. Myself included. Sure I will pay $$$$$$$ for a custom gunsmith, but when it comes to ammo hell I want it dirt cheep, that or, I will chop rods of power, and spend hours fussing over minuscule dimensions chasing fractions of an inch, all when compared to my billable time working, I could probably just by the stuff (well, in some cases).

DO WE ##### AT WALMART FOR ROLLBACKS......NO! so why are some racking CanAmmo over the coals for simply doing a good job. We don't ##### about gas (well yes we do) for being 10c/l cheeper last month than it is now. X-mass time happens and then a month later the chit is on sale for a big discount. Prices and markets change, deal with it. Overall I thin CanAmmo has been a very good business supporting Canadians and should not be thought of as trying to gouge us. Chit a norc and 1k ammo for $500?

CanadaAmmo has a "Ammo lowest price pledge" policy. It's store policy. No one dragged anyone through the mud. I merely asked them to honor their store policy and they did, just like I knew they would. That's why I'm a repeat customer of theirs.
