T2 Garand - Part 1

Have you bothered to read the Marstar warranty, "not happy" return for a full refund ??
I hate to rain on your parade but the sales derived from CGN members would barely pay the wages for a couple of employees....
Not to say we do not appreciate the support of CGN members, but there is a whole othe world outside this forum
John

I was thinking about this crack from J-1...
How would he have any idea how much of Canadian sales were driven by CGN? Where else in Canada do they advertise? I've never even seen an ad outside of CGN for them in Canada. Not like they ask on their online order form either.
How many 858's or whatever did Wolverine sell in an hour on here? 400 at $1000? $400k in an hour seems like a pretty solid consumer base to me....

I ordered mine after I received an email from Marstar.

Wolverines sale sold out in about the same time (a day). They probably would have sold out sooner had it not been for online order issues related to the shear volume of people trying to access their system all at the same time.

I want to make it more than clear, just in cause someone isn't paying attention and associates Wolverines good name with this thread in a negative way, that nothing could be farther from the truth. The owner of Wolverine, John Hipwell, is a shining example of how a business owner should conduct himself. He is also consistently at the forefront fighting for firearms rights in Canada. I have lost track of how many times he has gone to bat for us. I do not know any other person who has done more for us as a group than him and I applaud him for it.

You are absolutely right.
He is a great gentleman.

here is the answer from Hauck:

Hallo Herr ######XX

K.Hauck

Translated in essence:

The Garand rifles were imported as completed rifles from Italy into Germany, were they were proofed, and exported back to Italy.
This can be seen from the laser etched proof mark.

Would I have manufactured, built or changed a barrel/action or if I would have assembled the weapon (I assembled quite a few Garand rifles), the proof mark would be etched without IT.

These weapons went through my accountability (books) only, but not through my workshop.

What do you think?

What a coincident that he built 120 Garands from parts at the exact same time?

Could be covering his arse. Can't believe they would respond to questions about their business dealings to random strangers, however.

That almost looks like he ran out of welding rods and said #### it, solder is "close enough".....lol.
That would last about 1 enbloc before it was deformed and headspace out, or worse lugs shearing off....

Garands are tough, but not indestructible.

I assume by your posting of the exploded Garand, that you are saying one of our Garands exploded ?.
Would you be kind enough to provide the serial number so we can verify our records.
John

wow (see I can write bold too)

are you waiting for a fatal accident to happen?

johnone
Leave your so called t-2 rifles out in the public long enough. Who knows what might happen to the end user. And still no recall. I am beginning to wonder if you even give a d&*%.

only a matter of time unfortunately id say, only a matter of time. wow is an understatement. I'm well past wondering about the give a ....... point

Grab your reading glasses John, there are a few dozen questions asked here that you seem to be avoiding.
Are you confident enough to shoot a battle pack through that M1 above on video for us, to prove how safe and durable those welded bolt lugs are? It's being returned to you it seems due to some minor issues and non-disclosures in your advertisement. I'm sure we can get you the serial number of THAT rifle and the RMA number just to make sure it gets to you.....we all look forward to the video of you shooting it.

now that would be something, a "Trumpesque" reality show.

The problem is that when someone gets injured using these fake t-2 rifles is, that not only is john going to be on the hook for allowing these out into the public. But it is also going to involve employees who handled them.` Example being why didn't you say something if you knew about the quality of the rifles.

The same rule applies when buying anything ; Buyer Beware...and inspect closely in person prior to purchase....

The longer I'm tuned into this thread the more I think I'm on a hidden camera show and some dude is going to knock at my door and say "surprise you're on candid camera"

I can't believe how poorly assembed these things are and the fact that people's safety is not even on John's mind.

It's all crazy
