T97 Range Report Thread

Nice to see that there are others out there with good taste too!:)
Is your AUG live? Sadly, I can't own a live one.

Have to agree with you on the controls. They are not perfect by a shot, but very usable for a bush gun, gopher gun etc. I have discovered that if I place my left hand on the top of the stock (gun facing left, thumb of left hand facing right) and manipulate the safety with my left thumb it works well for me.

The AUG has been neutered... I bought my first AR (CAR-15 actually) in the 80's and had a flash hider welded to it to make it non restricted...Ah the good old days. I was going to buy the AUG, but at the time, my meagre income would not allow it. I've kicked myself ever since.

I use the same technique for the selector, and can keep the rifle shouldered at the same time. I think a little bigger button for the magazine release would also make a world of difference.

After a week and a half, I FINALLY got a chance to shoot my little T97 - the one with the crazy barrel clamp red dot here:

I'll make another pony themed video with my targets - but the red dot worked surprisingly well out to 50 yards. I was in a rush to get my cousins through shooting it, along with an AR and am 858, and my groups sucked. The Clobb mount wiggled a bit loose, but that was my fault.

Long story short, I think I can shoot the t97 as well as I can shoot an AR, and I have tens of thousands of rounds down the pipe with with an AR (and C7).

That vid was worse than getting Rick-Rolled. I was hoping to see some shooting. Your MLP card looks like it says "Buttpups are Magic" so wasn't a total loss.

Man that P90 is ugly. I mean seriously. People are harping on the T97 but it actually appears ###y compared to the cartoonish P90.

Ouch...why the harsh...The p90 is an odd bird, and pics don't do it justice. Put one in your mitts to play with and you may change your mind. The T97 is a different looking critter as well, the angles don't flow right, but in person, it looks better and the geometry feels good once shouldered.

ALL bullpups are cool! Not drop dead good looking like a nice piece of fancy walnut and blued steel (which I am also very partial to!) but interesting none the less!

Lol
Hey man, to each his own. I fully believe appearance are all subjective. Its about what YOU like. And thats all that matters. I do see how the P90 could be extremely comfortable. Form follows function... its a good way to do it.

The PS90 is awesome. No recoil. Handles fast. Ergos are exceptional. The mag changes are slow but it was designed to have 50 rounds in that mag. Brass shoots out the bottom. Completely and truly ambi. One of the cooler firearms I own.

PS90 next to the more practical and affordable version the CX4 Storm in 9mm. The Storm is almost a bullpup. Pistol based carbine. This version is non restricted while my PS90 is restricted. So it's not as fair a size comparison.

Yes I know crappy camera.

The T97 looks have grown on me. There are a few lines on it that could have been done better but it's still a nice enough looking firearm. Plus it's a bullpup!!

Ya...harbl...I don't even know what to say man? Your avatar is my little pony, theres my little pony merchandise tags and I'm assuming my little pony music? Haha umm nice rifle though. You stick to your lane and I'll stick to mine :sok2

I'm sure it's been mentioned in here already, but I just got some more mags from SFRC yesterday and Gen2 Pmags fit well and drop free from my T97 as do LAR magazines.
