T97 Range Report Thread

Lotsa pics - writeup later (edit - actually pretty self explanatory. All shot with Norinco 1600 surplus ammo). All shot off a sandbag at 25 and 50 yards.

It gets breezy in the 50 yard range at TSE, so she keeps my targets from blowing away.

Also, she is 2" tall, so that helps give a frame of reference for my group sizes.

So perfect for shooting at 100 yards then. Provides it's own wind guide too. Maybe fill it with red die for added my little pony splatter.

I love all the pictures and range reports, videos and stories of people's new T97 purchases.... HOWEVER, will somebody PLEASE post a TOTAL overall length of the rifle. I know how long the barrel is and the length of pull, but could someone who has theirs in hand do me this solid and measure theirs?

Just a tad under 30 inches...

29 AND 3/4 inches from end of Flash Hider to end of Butt

Here is the best shot I have of it, after I filed the ramps.

This is a target that was shot at 100 yards off the bench. The 5 holes in the lower right are 50 grain Nosler Varmageddon. The 5 shots lower center are Hornady 75 grain steel match. Please keep in mind that the front sight post at this range is wider than the box I was shooting at!! I believe that with a compact optic or a scope these guns would prove more accurate than most of us believe.

And this is simply a random photo of a bunch of bullpups. Sadly, the AUG is a #### and click only.

want.... that... aug.... :(

Just curious - how many rounds do you guys use to determine your group size?

I shoot 5 and barring any one off's, count them all. If I have a one off - I don't count the group.

Why again is the AUG prohibited? Our politicians don't like Austrians? Seems to fit in with all the other bull pups that are in the sandbox...

If the Tavor, Sub2000, KSG, RFB etc etc etc had existed prior to 1995 & Bill C68, they would ALL be Prohibited as well... It makes no sense, but anti-gunners don't care, any & all guns are the target...

Cheers
Jay
