You misunderstood (and I was probably unclear). The PLR and SU share the same receiver. I was saying that adding the tele stock to the PLR would make it over 26" OAL and that an SU-22 built with the same 10" barrel as the PLR would still be long enough to remain non-restricted. Under our laws a pistol is always a pistol, no matter what is done to it.

Agreed...let's get this topic back on track....MORE PICS!!

I had to go the Mossberg .22 Tactical route........

Slapped some KAC rail covers I had kicking around on it, a KAC side sling mount, and rigged up a flash suppressor for it....... ;)

The Rebirth ... My SR22-SBR

Hey all,

Well I decided to strip down my SR22, took it out of its AR shell and went back to the basic black.

Jt, I like the new look.. far and gone is the FDE.
What kind of stock is that and how did the SR barrel fit in?

Thanks!

The stock is from Boyds Tacticool line, the receiver and barrel dropped in very readily. It's a lighter than the AR shell but still has a bit of heft to it which still gives it a nice feel when shooting offhand.

O no JT, why? The new one is nice too but your SR was really nice and very unique too.

I know, and so it shall still be with it's new owner. Truth be told, the whole novelty of having an AR style 22 wore off with the SR22, plus it was heavy and just sat in my safe doing nothing so I needed to turn it into something that I know would be my go to rifle for small bird and game.

it is the stock barrel ( 18 inches ) , and it's the 10 rounds mag. I stick it with epoxy fiberglass resin ( I made the mag from a piece of wood with a coat of the same epoxy to have the same feeling has a composite mag, and I painted it )
