Just found an M4 (listed on CGN) and sealed the deal
Looking forward to getting it
Thanks to everyone who gave me a little of their experience
Always wanted one but sad to hear it isn't good for three gun.
I wouldnt say its bad for three gun...just that there are other options for less that can be modded to ones liking...like the versamax.
I hear you. I have just been introduced to the versa max. Looks good. Plus different chokes. I get why people use them. I figured M4 be durable and never have to worry. As most semis have issues. I may have to switch plans from M4 or max.

In hindsight, I wish I would have taken a few better pics. Not limited out yet in this pic.![]()

Stock is the 'field stock' - got it from Brownells a couple years back for about $200 USD if I recall. They are around but hard to find.
The ghost rings are great for slugs and deliberate shooting, but snap shots and wingshooting in general doesn't lend itself well to GR's. The Scalarworx top rail lets you use the ghost rings as a backup, as you can bottom 1/4 (about) co-witness. I zeroed the top of the triangle at 50 yards with slugs.
That Scalarworks rail is the sheeit Canucklehead, but no Canadian retailer seems to have any and Brownells is saying they are discontinued. They apparentry make an integrated Aimpoint micro rail too. The company won't export because of ITAR. There's got to be some way to get these into the country!
I got mine in Canada. I want to say it was through CTCS? I did have to pay an import fee of $25 or $50 if I recall, so it wasn't cheap.
