Tell us what was the first ever shotgun you ever bought

My first shotgun I bought was a Stevens Model 58 I believe. It has a sort of plastic stock and is sort of a bolt action but not.To register it was a problem at first as the action type was guestioned. It kicks like a mule and gobbles shotgun shells.

First shotgun I ever bought was a 1929 Field Grade Model 12 with nice bluing and furniture. I was young and bubba'd it to 20" so I could fit it in my backpack. I then traded it straight across for a stainless .22LR/.410 M6 Scout. Good trade if I do say so. :D

my first shotgun I just bought a little over a week ago. A Mossberg 500 Field 12 ga pump (wood stock). I like it a lot. Sure, I'd like to buy a nicer one one day but, for now, it's so me.

Went to canadian tire to buy a pair of greb boots.came home with a harrington richardson ten gauge shotgun paid 125.00 for it maybe 25 years ago.still got it,used it last year on a black bear (00 buck) that was on back our patio.

Picked up my first shotgun last week.

Remington 870 7shot w ATI Talon G2 pistol grip and stock.

I was torn between this and the Winchester SXP Defender... In the end the aftermarket and proven reliability sold me on the 870. The gun shoots and handles like a dream.

My first shotgun was a old Browning two shot auto Trap gun still have it made in Belguim
had borken stock got for 50 bucks fixed the stock had barrell reblued still use kicks like hell .

Mossberg 590 Special Purpose 12 ga. with ghost ring sights. Got it less than a week ago and already put almost 100 rounds of home-made ammo through it without a malfunction. Thing really pumps lead.

Rem 870 7-shot just lie Tom Jones except with a Knoxx spec ops stock. I have had it for about 6 or 7 yrs and it still shoots great. Just oil the fvck out of it, and if you take it out in the bush carry oil rags.

Winchester ranger 120. Bought it at CT 21 years ago. Can't remember how much. It has been beaten, bashed, rode hard and put away wet. Still runs like a top and I am too ashamed to post a pic.

In order: Mossburg 12 ga bolt action, 2rd mag adjustable choke coller. made in the '60's?
Cooey .410 single (winchester)
Cooey 16ga single...'50's production....case hardened receiver (pre winchester)
Wingmaster pump 20" slug gun 12ga. Police Furniture (wood)
I still have everything aside from the 16ga. :D

My first SG was a new Rem 870 Winmaster 30" vented bbl. It was so accurate I could hit clays all day with that thing!
When I moved out from my parents place in the mid-80's I forgot to take it with me. When I returned to visit...my dad sold it on me:(
She was in mint condition and so smooth.

Rem 870 wingmaster 18". got it from Casey at tacOrd for $170. he had 50 of them used and abused from brinks. not the prettiest thing on the outside but functions perfectly. Doubt that 50 training rounds were fired through it, the barrel was mirror smooth on the inside.

it has since been reblued, has rail installed, and new wood furniture. I will probably never sell it

Remington 870 Wingmaster: Bought t off another CGN member, I fell in love at first sight.
Blasts holes in things real good.
