The 10 rounds @ 300 yards cgn online challenge.

Yes those Manners stocks are amazing. I love the molded in camo over carbon fiber look. It's the nest looking stock in the industry IMO. Of course, the Defiance actions and S&B scopes are a nice touch too!

The Manners stocks are great, love the ergos and the quality.

The SB has been replaced with the a Minox. Trying to replace the other one as well.

Picked up a 6.5 on the exchange a few months back, group doesn't count but it shows some promise. Once hunting season is over I need to work with this rifle a bit. Dots are 1" for reference.

Details on the dope card / attachment method in the last picture please?

I have successfully did the challenge today.
I put my calipers larger so it is obvious it's under 3'', as I know I didn't do 2'' anyways.

300 Meters, 5 C sunny w/ clouds, heavy wind gusts, 13/10/18
My windage was adjusted by 0.2 mils left, and wasn't quite enough.
10 rounds shot under 3-4 minutes.

Savage 10TR 308 win w/ IBI 26'' M40 profile barrel
175 gr SMK @ 2700 FPS using 42.7gr Varget
Prone w/ Harris bipod and Coretac solutions regular size bean bag.

MartyK2500 - Nice job! Good shooting and nice rifle. Please post the actual group measurement so I can add you to the list.

After seven months of no shooting (courses, fire bans and travel) I dusted off the AW and gave this a go today. I almost made the fabled 1/2 moa club but I blew one shot and it was over. Still had fun and it felt good to hit the range again.

So close....

Is that with your new barrel? If so, after how many rounds down the pipe?

Just ran it through submoa pro application i just purchased, for the new interest i just developed in having accurate target measurements.
Here’s what it gave me.

Thanks for adding me!
Considering I am new at measuring targets, I was wondering,
2.610''@300M may give another reading at 300YDS.

Since 300M = 328yds (which app was calibrated with), in this case if I use : (my moa value x 1.047'') x 3 = give me my group size at 300yds?
i.e., it gave me a 0.76 moa value, multiplied by 1.047'' and then by 3 would be 2.38'' (as a minute is 1.047'' @ 100yds), would this be the way to read it?

Thanks for your patience, I am not double questioning anything here, just trying to understand to read better my target groups in the future.

That is all correct Marty. For this challenge I am only accepting the actual physical size of the grouping (this has been debated before). The instructions are to shoot it at 300 yards.

Lots of guys have shot this challenge at 300 meters (some even further) and done very well. This is just a personal challenge with no winner an no prizes.

I know all too well (that this is informal/just for fun), i wasn’t asking for my place to be reassessed,
And that is why i was borderline shy to ask.

Was just asking to see if i had figured correctly how to interpret group sizes.
Thanks for confirming.

Shot 2 10-shot groups today with my Hammerli-Tanner in 7.5X55 at 300 meters, handload ammo, both of them under 3".
