still trying for sub 1 inch, so so close today, 1.081 10 shot group with a rebarrelled savage f class rifle, Jury 12 twist 6mm barrel MTU contour in 6mmbr, 80 grain bergers over Varget and CCI 450 primers. 300 yards again, heavy left to right winds but determined to hold the impact in the center for score.

Wow! Impressive, only a hair above 1" group, keep going!

Very nice shooting and 2 mighty fine rigs Dave. Impressive.

Bartell, nice work with the black rifle. I know you can get it to do better.

Today I completed this challenge... Twice in a row! (To my surprise.) After shooting the first group I got up to eat a cheese string and noticed that I had an audience of 4 does about 40 m behind me. In my best effort to impress them, I lobbed-off another 10 rounds thinking I could do better. Unfortunately, I reckon one round was deflected by a snowflake so my second group wasn't quite as good as the first. Still good enough for the girls I go with.

Shot prone from 324 yards with a factory Tikka CTR in 6.5 CM supported by a Harris bipod and a sock full of rice. Weather was about 6 degrees, mixed precipitation, and 3 or 4 scope clicks of wind gusting from shooter's left.

This was my first time trying this challenge, my first time shooting at that spot, and my first post here on CGN so hopefully I can make the pictures work.

Barnard P action/Joe west thumb up stock, 32 inch Krieger barrel chambered in .284 Diana
8-80x56 March scope
180 grain hybrids at 2820 fps

2.863 inch center to center 10 shot group, shot at 600 yards, now I know that this is the 300 yard challenge, but I got under the 3 inch rule at double the distance..........
