The 10 rounds @ 300 yards cgn online challenge.

223 remington.

That makes sense about the moa vs inches thing. I’m going to tweak a few reloading things and see if I can get that down under an inch on a calm day.

Here’s a pic. Almost all canadian build.
Ok thanks for that, will update the results tomorrow

So not exactly 3.00", but doesn't 3.08" qualify at 300 metres?

223 Rem 783 with a 30" JC.
Hornady 88 gr ELD.
23.2 gr Varget.

Converting your group to 300 yards would be 2.820” I believe . Good shooting and suks that one lone low flyer. Repeat with different projectile as mentioned. Out of curiosity,do you sort bullets by weight?

I can't drive the ELD's as hard as I want, only about 2700 fps, then the groups go to ####, so I'm going to give the Sierra's a go.

As for sorting bullets, no, not yet anyway, if I was going to shoot a match I probably would.

Went out to shoot the challenge on a beautiful day. The old m24 with a fixed 10x still shoots pretty well.

The more modern m40a5 with a 3-12x s&b did a bit better. Also was running Alpha OCD brass. Really consistent so far.
