I really like the Game Scout, that one on the Model 70 22cm was my first real experience shooting a vertical grip style like that on a lighter hunting rifle. I've since bought a Game Scout for my Tikka T3x Lite 260Rem and really enjoy shooting it. I'm thinking about a Gunwerks Clymr for my Defiance 280 Ackley too

I really like the gunwerks Clymr stock. Thinner grip than the mcmillan and a nice shape to the comb.

This rifle/cartridge is really intriguing me, I know it is a handloaders cartridge, but is there any factory ammo in this yet? Just curious at this point.

nothing yet. It's just a matter of time before Hornady makes this a factory offering, I'd expect Ruger to be on board too

Holy smokes can you imagine harassing baboons with that?! What a hoot that would be. Apparently you have to get them from pretty long distance, this would fit the ticket! Fun for Jackals and small plains game too!

22 Bleedmoor worked well on this coyote at 150 yards, quartering to angle. That 80.5gr Berger took a nasty bite on the way out. Amazingly she still made about 40 yards on a death sprint

22 Creedmore seems an awful lot like the 22-243 Middlestead. Which is a great coyote round. I see no reason this wouldn't be as well. - dan

250 yard frontal shot, no exit. Same load, 80.5gr Berger @ 3360 fps

280 yards quartering to, nasty exit. Long 1.5km drag back to the truck

found a piece of the Berger about 20y behind the coyote, skipped through the snow

I need some advice.

I placed an order for an IBI Carbon Hunter blank. 8t 26” for a 22CM.

Thinking of going 24”.

No reason other than a bit more compact. There would be no weight savings.

Should I stick with the 26”?

I'm having a 6 CM built right now with a IBI barrel and i'm going with a 24 " and i will have a 22 CM built next and it will be 24 " I THINK its a Good choice ! Your Right just a bit more Handy - BUT so is a 22 " barrel ! LOL RJ
