The 6.5x55 Swede Club, Are you there?

I got addicted to the 6.5x55 a long time ago. I have several with the latest being a Ruger #1A.

The 6.5x55 is great!

Here is my go to deer rifle, a Husqvarna 1640

And the Carl Gustafs CG80 that I just sold (Very nice gun, has a Schultz and Larsen barrel and adjustable Schultz and Larsen two stage match trigger)

started with one 6.5x55 -now have three-and three more in 9.3x57.
I consider the 6.5x55 the best deer cartridge there is-low recoil, extemely accurate,flat shooting and one of the highest sectional densities there is in a hunting bullet.The 9.3x57 is for moose/bear

I've owned at least 6, but am currently down to 1. My T3 stainless is one of my favorites and a real deer killer. I just bought it a new present. A Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44 Z600.

Just built this girl over the winter with plans to take her on my first moose hunt this fall. Some gems to be had at trade-ex for sure. Still iffy on the bolt but should be a godsend with gloves.

Two here, sold another one off a while back. Still have a CG sporter and a Win 70. It is a very good caliber for all around hunting, accurate and relatively soft recoiling. - dan

Nope. It looks that way because the bolt handle is in the up position. They're Rem 700 long actions.

I remember when I sold mine a few years ago. It sold within minutes and I was inundated with pm's. I should have asked more for it!

I sold mine too. One of those "biggest mistake ever" moments. It was literally the best gun. Not even kidding.
