Renewing my membership. Had these pic's up years ago,but they rusted away.
At top 7600-35 Whelen,760's 35 Rem,270 (bad glare),308/mod 6,308 and 257Roberts.

And their ancestors,or is that a separate club?

Top is a 141/35R- 14's- 35,32,30 and 25 that someone butted.

I had a 223 for a time, but had to sell it to pay an unexpected bill during hard times. :(

Wish it still lived here.

Wasn't one with the fancy basket weave wood was it and mint??
If so I think I may know exactly where it is now. They were very very rare in 223 as you know. Mine was reported to have come from NB. I was lucky to find a left handed one also last fall from a site sponser. Have a pic of that somewhere

If of interest, The Gun Dealer in McAdam just today listed a nice old 760 in 35 Remington for $400. Nice rifle at a VG price.

Worth checking out.

Anybody know the difference between the 7600 35 whelen carbines made for Europe versus ones that stayed in North America???

Ok going to add a comment or a question. Are the new remington 7600 up to a good quality control. Or would someone looking to buy one be better to look at an older gun. There are a lot of nib guns 7600 for sale or trade which tells me guys are looking to dump them because the newer guns have a problem. Makes me wonder. New or older pump.

No more chance of problems than any other rifle, but the newest one I've had was a 1991 model. I prefer the older 7600, sans cheekpiece.

Why buy new when so many good deals show up on the EE? I'd get one there. The used ones don't have many propblems.

Don't you find the raised comb stocks are easier to use with a scope? I've used both and like the higher comb better.
