Anyone had issues with the mags being loose and not staying locked up in tight enough, causing feeding issues??
There's a notch on the end of the mag that holds it in place. I've seen older mags with the edge of this notch worn rounded so it won't hold in the proper place and feed well. I've filed the edge flatter for temp fix, but a new[er] mag was the ticket for my problems.Anyone had issues with the mags being loose and not staying locked up in tight enough, causing feeding issues??
Picked up another NIB 7600 in 260Rem..
I bought this one for a project, but I don't think I could bring myself to chopping this one up.
.
I'm looking at a 6 digit serial number beginnning with 285 in 3006 right now. Decent shape for its age.
According to my memory, that rifle was made in 1913, so it is absolutely a collector's edition!!!

Are you talking the 760 Doug. I may be wrong but I thought the First Serial number for the 760 was 1001 in 1952, Replaced Model 141
