On Saturday I bought a 95% Model Six in 6mm, that I had been staring at for a couple of months. Good price and 395 pieces of primed and trimmed brass. I live on Vancouver Island so this is perfect for Blacktails and Black bears.
Did they replace the receiver or just give you a new gun?
Mine had an upgrade recently as well, a new VX-II 1-4x.
whole new rifle from a new batch . I inspected the rifle and the machineing is right on the money![]()
If you can find a decent 760 in 35Rem it's easy to rechamber to 358. All you need is a mag for a .308 to swap out for the shorter 35Rem mag.I have been tossing the idea of getting another one done in either the 338 Federal or 358 WIN. Used to have a 358 WIN in a BLR so I have all the reloading stuff for it
I think you guys went back and bought that pump after I was shamed into not taking it for myself. It was a steal. We gave Paul a hard time when he looked at a pump at WSS last winter. More because of how they get bashed out here than anything. Told him they would pay him to take it.He is a good sport that kid.
Brad, can I be a shoe in? I don't have a 760 but I have a 14.After all it did break trail for your newer model and I have no other friends here who like them. Actually, I don't think I have any friends.......

7600P in .308, Leupold VX-II 1-4 with quick-disconnect rings. Had to remove the rear ghost ring sight as it conflicts with the scope.
Hey, we won't turn any pumps away, the more the better.
Your's looks alot better than the .25 I have here, too bad about the hiding in the barn thing...
I kinda like the older ones, wouldn't mind a .30 REM if I could get one that was VG+ for a good $$.

Haven't shot anything with it yet. The parkerizing withstands the elements very well. I should've had one of those barrel-condoms on though.
Shoots 165gr Gamekings at 2500fps. The 16.5" barrel gives it a ~48" overall length that fits perfectly on the front of my atv.
