The AK- SKS kit ( little update post 440 2015-03-19)( less ABS more wood and metal)

the printer is running again , after blowing a fuse and get the new fuse , the power supply died , a very bad streak of unluckyness , but know all is fine , willreprint osme new part , trunnion , frame , and a dfew adapter for the quadraill and probably a shooting test if i can this week-end
 
i put some change on my drawing , some minor detail , tried this week-end to print with the nylon but got osme warping issue , but for hte little i was able to print with the nylon 645 , this material is nearly indestructible a first view it dont break like the abs , i print it around 270-280 celcisu soi it have a very good layer adhesion , i will swapt slowly the abs part to the nylon ,

worked this evening on the spacer for the quadrail , i have some adjustment to do and that should be perfect , shuold get some new about iron wood design very soon because that will do 6 week this week, still no new about the timbersmith one ,

i worked on that this week , designed a new mag release , do some adjutment , at this moment im drying my nylon in the oven because it have wait too much moisture to do a nice print , at the end of the afternoon im going to start the 21 hour of printing to get the frame in nylon , because of the time i take i hope that everything going to work nice , this could be the last 3d printed frame for this projet ,
 
finally got a new 3dprinted receiver , will post some pick tomorow afternoon , after 2 fail due to out of spec material and nearly a third one but was able to save the print with some little damage it will be good enough for the new test , nylon 645 is way stronger than abs but a ##### to print

i bought from a gunnutz here an ak wood set , still no new of the timbersmith stock , and the irunwood design should get news this week or next one i think

original of an AK 74 , nearly new , the seller was saying that it dont even had the hole drilled in the stock to mount it on the trunnion , from the treacking number , possible delivery is monday , i hope that will be friday of this week ,

i worked a little bit on the fame i printed this week-end and i gonna have to reprint another one , i made some adjustment and they are not good , the frame was a little bit too long , nylon is more resistant than abs but too much soft for the application , will retry to print another receiver this week ,
 
after 24hour of printing i finally got the frame v3 , mag release will be inside the frame , still have some light mod for the mag release to do , this one will probably the final design for the frame or very close ,

my wood stock from irunwood design have been shipped , i should got the ak74 one tomorrow ,

i reprinted a dust cover yesterday and it was a sucess fter 20 hour of printing ,

will post more picture when i have more time , and with all the wood on it , i will have some light modification to do on the trunnion , very soon the designing and prototyping of this ^project should be done , still didnt get time to work on the mag release

with the wood sets still have some adjustment to do but that look very good , with all those evil AK parts on it , still dont have any puppy or kitten that have died because of it ... ,
