The AK- SKS kit ( little update post 440 2015-03-19)( less ABS more wood and metal)

casting they need to be machined , i may look for the stamped metal sheet , i would have just to redraw it a little bit and draw some parts that will be riveted , the easiest ways would be probably , to take a metal sheet , put it on a cnc laser cutting to cut the body do every hole , bend , put the parts in and put the rivet and done but i still need to get one first to think how to improve the thing ^^

I'm thinking this is the easiest as well

worked most of the day on a stamped version , for now i'm at 4 machined parts mostly adapters , the dust cover i 2 piece the main body + a cap at the end , it seem that the 3 degree that the AK have in the receiver fit perfectly to the sks ^^, just have to add some riveted or welded reinforcement in the receiver and one in the front near the handgaurd the duckbill is a little of thinking , but with a sks-D it would be 0 problem

yep sure i would probably need some guys to test and give their feedback, for the guys close to Edmonton i may one days take a ride to phoenix range

People complain about the price of a $200 archangel sks stock. Where do you think this will come in? No offence just trying to visualize the cost. This (and the op's AR style design) looks too well built, well designed to be affordable for most sks owners.
