The Battle Rifle Pictures Thread

Okay, this looks like fun! Can I play too?

Here's my two Ishi's - top one has some Canadian parts (rear sights, some wood, gas piston, etc.). Sure wish I could still take them out and shoot them *sigh*

Here's my norc, finally just got around to mounting the arms18 and optic. I'm gonna play around with this set up for a while, but I feel like I'm probably going to go to a 1-4 instead of the red dot.

Specs are chopped barrel with Troy Medieval brake, arms 18 with Vortex Strikefire in ADM mount, NEA bolt release and op rod guide, Ingram cqb chassis with Magpul CTR stock and AFG and a Hogue pistol grip. Only thing missing is a riser for the CTR, as I need another half inch or so.

Very nice Matt , I like it ;)

Finally finished indexing and headspacing the Krieger heavy barrel to my M25, and test ran it last night at 500 yards. She knocked over 6"x12" steel with aplomb at 500. Stock needs finishing now, sanded only, and it needs a cheek riser.

Mighty fine there Ardent ;)
Aren't those receivers just a joy to work with?
My M25 receiver is still wrapped up and put away.
Maybe I'll try and build her up before July's clinic.

Yes it was nice to work on, I know it gets touchy doing Norc comparisons in this forum but compared to working on M305's it was a dream having everything sharply in spec. Just goes together.

Only thing I found was LRB seems to leave the face of the action slightly proud, it wouldn't accept a Criterion or USGI barrel without taking some off the barrel shoulder, since I had to work with that anyhow I just went with the Krieger.
