My M305, spiffed a bit with USGI and SADLAK goodies. I like the more traditional/plain look. Putting a SADLAK scope mount on soon if I can get that stripper clip guide out without braking anything...

Thumbs up here, I like Valmets and that's the holy grail cal wise it seems, only sold mine for a lack of parts and mags. If I could justify more guns in my gunroom I'd have em back.

You must have had the 308 cal. Valmet Mags in 308 cal. are hard to get . I had 3 Valmets in that cal.

I'm interested to know what effect the new handguard had on your POA and/or group sizes.

I have not fired the rifle with the Golden SHG installed yet, but I have fired many rounds with the rifle in the Blackfeather.
I plan to spend some time at the indoor range this weekend... I'll post some feedback after I'm done.

Here it is next to a standard M14... remove the Comp M4 and the rifles weigh exactly the same...
