Hey guys,

I wanted to start a thread for Benelli M4 owners and prospective M4 owners to show and discuss these spectacular shotguns.

Show us your M4, tell us how you like it, what you use it for, what you like shooting through it, how it compares to your Remington/Mossberg/Norinco, etc.

I don't have one yet, but I spend all day drooling over them.

Has anyone removed the top rail for that Benelli M1 look?

Here is a video to watch:

I've had mine since last November and its been a superb piece of kit. The adjustable stock was a little but of a pain to get used to but it locks up tight and is rock solid. The cyclic rate is phenomenal, and it an absolute blast to shoot low powered rounds in quick succession. I shot a few gophers last fall with it before snowfall and was probably some of the best fun I've had in a while. It's by far one of my favourite firearms.

Here's mine....bought it on 2006 & its still one of my favorite guns. Ill try & post some vids up later. Same opinion on the adjustable stock, after I got used to it no problems.

It's a shame we can't get the extended mag tubes here.

Do you ghost load your M4 ever? Is the export legal 18.5'' version of the M4 able to hold 5+1+1?

It really does seem like the best shotgun ever.

Everyone who owns one talks about its reliability, it shoots anything.

To get the best, you gotta pay.

Which tube is that?

They pop up on EE, I believe there was a full length FFT for sale for a while. CTCS was also bringing in some extensions (to replace the factory false extension), which is obviously the cheaper alternative.

I loved my M4, I only sold it, because I needed a few different things, and I didn't get to shoot it very much. When I did shoot it, I fed it anything and everything, and it just asked for seconds. Loved shooting clays with it, was always a hit with my buddies. I got pretty good with the ghost rings. The shotgun just screams quality, there wasn't a single thing I didn't like about it. Super easy to ghost load, and 7 rounds go sooo fast.

Your mom sez if all else fails just use the Benelli M4 SBS.....she loves it because it eats anything she feeds it.

Dressed & trimmed with SureFire M80 Foregrip, Surefire X300 etc, etc...

I found which extension tube you are talking about.

What is the legality on this? I love the idea, and would adopt it in a second, even if just to get one extra shell in the gun. But what is the legality of being able to fit 6 shells in the tube?

The M4 or any 12g semi for that matter that can take 3" shells will be legal to have 6 - 2 3/4" shells in the tube. The 5 round max rule is BASED on the largest round you can fit in the shotgun. If you plug the tube so it will fit 5.9 3" shells you can now fit 6 rounds of the 2 3/4 " Ohh also dont forget to ghost load and wala 7 rounds for u.

Maybe this vid will help explain it more gooder?

Sold my M4 and bought a 590A1, too pricey to beat the crap out of at work and I don't have time for guns just for fun unfortunately. It's tough enough for the bush no doubt but every scratch and ding has you cringing. I liked it, but found it heavy for a defensive shotgun and the stock quite awkward. A 590A1 at $550 does everything I need a bush / defence gun to do at a quarter the price. That said, if you like em, they're a lot of fun.
