The Beretta CX4 Thread

Does the aforementioned Canadian distributor/CGN non-supporting dealer also stock the vented shroud?

If you mean Moerse Lekker, that's a small US company (a one-man shop I suspect) based in Florida. Check their site, I just dealt directly with them by internet and got the shroud via US parcel service a few weeks later. No second-party distributor involved.

Vortex Sparc will co-witness and albeit a bit more than $200 it's much better than a TRS25 which I have had zero luck with ( two models, both crapped out).

that plastic hammer may turn me off these rifles... Damn!!

No reason to. I've shot almost 4000 rounds through my Cx4 and never had a light strike on the primer. The hammer is a solid moulded piece driven by a stiff coil spring and mine shows no sign of wear at all.

Just sent payment to a fellow CGN'er for a NR variant :)

I may do the Sierra Papa treatment though...

Hey, where does one get the FRT numbers? I am the guy who filmed the XCR seizure in Squamish... And I don't want to have that experience repeated! My friends gun Got seized, not mine... I lied and said I didn't have any LAR mags, very glad I did! :D

This is just gonna have to tide me over until my CX4 gets here! :p

Cost me $60,000 in game!! Seems a bit steep! Hahaha

I'm going to call A.... Armoury tomorrow. Is there any other place to get the Sierra Papa trigger and hammer kits?

Any help you guys can offer me on this Arvin would be great! I understand is a good carbine, but can be a great one with a bit of love.

Cheers!

I've got the Sierra Papa upgrade from Az####h armory on 2 of my carbines. One carbine is starting to show some wear and peening on some plastic parts. I'd replace all the internals with metal parts if I could! :)

Hmmmm, didn't mention this when you quelled my fears of the plastic internals...

Hahaha, oh well, I'll just shoot it until it breaks Then fix it I guess :)

Thank you so much JR!

After selling my 9mm AR mad buying this, I had just enough left over for the Sierra Papa trigger and hammer kit :)

Gonna hold off on the guide rod as with our dollar, today's kit went from $185usd to $255 cad!! Insane!

Northern Republic IIRC. They are quite common tho, so you should be able to find em anywhere that carries mags. Any Beretta 96 mag. 96f, 96fs, 96d etc.

and, I prefer them over the actual Beretta mags that came with the Carbine. :)

I know hey? grrrr...

I got all of it but the metal trigger housing as it was too expensive and I don't really see the benefit. I shimmed mine and it works great.

That's because mine with the SP have seen far more rounds than most. Like 10K rounds each. I think the carbines would be better with more metal but they woudl also be more money, and most people will not be affected! :)
