Absolutely! As long as you don't bring any prohibited rifle parts into the shop we are 100% ok with helping assemble Renegade and Maverick rifles. (we kinda have some experience with that and are happy to share)Trying to decide if I should get a Renegade kit or not... I just watched the video below, and it wasnt bad.
I had one question. Like FNG762 in post #99, my donor rifle has an A2 front sight. It's highly probable (probably 100%..lol) that I'm nowhere near as technically proficient as FNG762, so in the event I buy a kit, I might need a hand shutting off the gas block - is that something you could help with? I live less than an hour from your shop, so it wouldn't be out of the way to get there in person. Thanks for your insight, and I hope everyone here had/is having a Merry Christmas.
Yes this is the preferred method. Happy to share the knowledge.Take the removed gas tube and cut off about 2" of the front end. Take this remnant and re-install it in the gas block but upside down. Yes simply rotate it 180 degrees so the hole that would face down toward the barrel is now facing up toward the sight. Re-install the pin that holds it in and your done.
Cheers
