I've been looking around for a left hand, left action aftermarket stock for the ruger here but can't seem to find one? I've be fine with a solid walnut, or an MDT chassis like the Oryx or something.

Any lefties out there find anything anywhere?

Check out Boyds. Pretty sure they shp to Canada. I am looking at their stocks for my Ruger American G2 that I have set up as a Scout rifle.

Any one had the change to run some 7.62x51 Nato in their rifle ? Or are there any VERY experienced ammunition guys who can clarify the .308 win eating 7.62x51 question ?

I looked at them but they only do left hand RIGHT actions... for all their Left hand stocks for the GSR... very disheartening. Really want to swap out for either a fudd walnut or a tacticool stock. Hate this in between laminate stock.

It's too bad the price went through the roof on the Gunsite Scouts as well.... I don't mind the cheaper American's they generally shoot well and for half the price it's a no brainer for most folks.

There's always the used market, lots of gunsite rifles out there.

I just ordered a black gunsite 16.5 inch with black laminated stock from IRUNGUNS for $1600 CDN, cheapest you could get one for a long time

I found the laminate stock on the canadian rifles "meh."

Traded for a lipsey's walnut stock, but there is a bit of a gap. Nothing brown bedding compound cant fix

walnuts are way nicer on the gunsites

That's a reasonable price in today's inflated price reality.... I snoozed on a second one a few years back in the EE for less then a grand.... didn't really need it but the price was right!

I bought my stainless walnut version from a fellow gunut here on the EE as well... I don't mind the look of the laminate though.

Yeah, a Canadian version with the walnut stock is rare.

I agree walnut is best. Unless someone wants to go McMillan. But the money isnt worth it IMO

Just noticed the ad says it's restricted in a few states. Looks like even down South they have even more retarded gun laws at some places than us here.
