The CZ600 7.62x39 has an 18in barrel. It is a nice rifleCZ600 Alpha short action, 223 or 7.62x39. With hand loads, my 7.62x39 groups at 0.75” at 100 yards. I put a cheap Bushnell Banner scope on it, 4-12x44. Light and easy to swing around. The 7.62x39 comes with a 20” barrel.
You are so right.... it is 18". It is a nice compact rifle and I would not think twice about shooting deer out to 150-175 yards with it. Very accurate with my handloads, even with a cheap scope. Fwiw, browning replaced my duratouch stock with the new micro composite stock and it's a nice stock. It's not outrageously short like some other compact rifles. I think it was within 1 or 2 oz of my x-bolt pro's weight.
Apparently the new x-bolt 2 comes with the spacers but you can get spacers for the old model from browning or numrich.
